What’s New in the 2025 Toyota Camry

The Redesigned All-New 2025 Toyota Camry

It’s been a while since Toyota updated the Camry, and truth be told, the iconic midsize sedan has been a bit quiet.

Until now.

The 2025 Toyota Camry received a head-to-toe upgrade, and it is going to be tough to keep it on the lot. With a new hybrid powertrain, a plethora of technology, and head-turning good looks, the 2025 Camry is poised to take over the American auto market. You can get your hands on a new Toyota Camry at Sun Toyota near Holiday and Elfers, Florida. But you better hurry up.

What’s Under the Hood

The new Toyota Camry specs begin with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine paired with two electric motors. The configuration delivers 225 horsepower. You can choose your Camry with standard front-wheel drive and a continuously variable automatic transmission. However, if you choose your Camry with all-wheel drive, you get an additional electric motor and 232 horsepower. Regardless of the drivetrain, all Camry trims provide a refined ride, much like the vehicles in the luxurious Lexus lineup.

The 2025 Camry hybrid fuel economy ratings are based on the drivetrain. The front-wheel drive models get an EPA-estimated combined fuel rating of 47 MPG, except for the LE trim which gets an EPA-estimated 51 MPG. The all-wheel drive models get between a combined 46 and 50 MPG - depending on the trim.

In previous model years, Toyota offered several engines, but the updated 2025 model is only available as a hybrid. Like other model years, the Camry is available in the entry-level LE trim, as well as the mid-level Camry SE and the top XLE and XSE trims. These are above-average fuel ratings for a midsize hybrid sedan.

Interior Comfort and Tech Features

The entry-level 2025 Toyota Camry interior includes comfort features like cloth upholstery, dual-zone automatic climate control, and push-button start. The tech features include an 8.0-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, SiriusXM Satellite Radio, Bluetooth, five USB ports, and wireless charging.

Standard Toyota Safety Sense safety features include Forward Collision Warning, Forward Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Lane-Departure Warning, Lane-Keep Assist, Blind-Spot Monitoring, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, Automatic High Beams, and Adaptive Cruise Control.

The Camry SE and XSE have sporty styling features like larger 18-inch wheels and a sport-tuned suspension. The interior includes SofTex upholstery, paddle shifters, and aluminum pedals. Drivers can add a 12.3-inch touchscreen to the SE, and the larger infotainment screen is standard on the top XSE trim.

The Camry XLE has luxury features like leather-trimmed upholstery, a leather-trimmed steering wheel, and a standard 12.3-inch touchscreen. Enhanced tech features include an auto-dimming rearview mirror and ambient interior LED lights.
